You may not realise this, but the renting out of wedding cars is traditionally done by the groom. This could be something to do with taking some of the responsibility away from the bride or it could be assuming that the groom knows more about which type of car would be right than the bride. The Small Details Matter
What grooms sometimes do not realise is that small details matter to the bride when it comes to her wedding day. So even if you have a nice enough looking car, it would still be nice to opt for additional features such as luxury seating and maybe even built in umbrellas. Many men tend to glaze over the features and simply pick a car that looks impressive. While this may be great for them, it is unfortunately not always so great for the bride.
Firstly the bride has to consider the amount of space that is in the car. This is especially the case if you are travelling with the bridal party. The dress also needs to be considered. In some wedding cars, if the bride is wearing a particularly big dress then it may not fit correctly into the car and damage could be caused. Therefore you need to take into account how big the dress is and of course the groom doesn’t always know this!
For that reason it is often better that the bride books their own car at least. By all means let the groom organise their own car, but the bride should definitely have a say in the type of wedding cars Nottingham they end up with!
